According to registers from the parish catechetical meetings in Skallsjö, Per came
from Bollebygd. He is, however, not registered there in the birth records. For this
reason it has been impossible to follow the family roots further back in time.

Per married  Karin Svensdotter, who supposedly was from Ödenäs. Her name
does not appear in any birth records either. Per and Karin lived at Trulsås,
the highest situated place in Skallsjö, at the borders of  Lerum's, Härryda's and
Bollebygd's parishes. Per was a farmer. At the Government Archives of land surveying
there is a map and as description of a fiscal duty of  "the tax exempt farm Trulsåhs
belonging to Högsboholm in the parish of Skallsjö". The map is from the middle of
the 18th century and the owner of Trulsås is Nils Örnevinge.

Karin died of pleuropneumonia at the age of 61. Per stayed on at Trulsås until he
died of old age  in 1826. According to the death records he was then  77 years ,
5 months and 28 days old. Should this be correct Per would have been born
sometimes in September 1758, and not in August 1757 which was registered at
the parish catechetical meetings. Per and his wife Karin are both buried at Skallsjö
old church, which is now in ruins.

Per and Karin's children

Katarina, Karin's first-born, died of fever, barely 1 ½ years old.

Johannes  got married in 1819 to Katarina Petersdotter from Ekeberg/Skallsjö
skattegård. They moved to Foglenäs.

Kristina died at the age of 23.

Nils got married in 1827 to Stina Persdotter, and took over Trulsås after his father.

Sven got married in 1823 to Ingjerd Petersdotter from Svederna. They moved to
Lilla Björnås, also known as "Floget".

Lars got married in 1860 to Kristina Elofsdotter from Skallsjö.
